Job Summary
If you consider yourself a growth mindset salesperson and are looking to join a fast growing conference business, then you came to the right place. This role will sell sponsorships and exhibits to our annual AI industry conference: Ai4. Ai4 is the leading AI industry conference in the world, drawing 8,000 people from over 85 countries. We are looking for someone with 2+ years Conference Sales experience. Position is Full-Time, Remote US location.
This is not a normal trade show type of sale. This requires the ability to create custom packages and to sell a variety of inventory. A dedicated Sponsor Operations Manager will support you by handling deliverables and follow-ups so you can focus on sales.
Ideal candidates will bring industry knowledge of artificial intelligence, or the curiosity and drive to quickly get up to speed.
Ai4 is a growth-mindset environment, and you will be joining as the 15th full time team member. Expect to communicate frequently through slack and zoom with our small team, but to work autonomously to get the job done.
Qualifications and Skills
The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications and demonstrated experience:
- Required: Minimum of 2 years of Conference sales experience.
- Exceptional sales skills
- Exceptional organizational skills
- Exceptional communication skills (written and verbal)
- Diligent databasing
- Self-motivated to work remotely, efficient time management and ability to prioritize and deliver on multiple deadlines simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility and adaptability to changing daily activities and schedules
- Creative problem-solving abilities / solutions driven
- Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Google Docs and comfortable learning/using new software & technologies
- Travel as required for events, planning meetings and other, as needed
- Ability to have fun
